The eXV²-Team is proud to present a new stable version of eXV²-Content Management System today.

eXV²-Core Version is now 2.1.0

As already hinted, the core was reduced.
It now consists of only 9 modules, which are:
banners, contact, exv2update, messages, mydownloads, mylinks, news, system, uservisitv2.

The main improvements are

• PHP5 with installed soap extension and zip extension
• in SysAdmin -> exv2tools -> FTP-Configuration your FTP-login detailshave to be entered

System:
- DesignEditor: corrected some errors, if the design_editor plugin was already updated but the standard themes weren't active yet.
new element: moz-border-radius (not w3c-compliant!) - border with rounded corners
Works with all Gecko-browsers like Mozilla and Firefox (with -moz-prefix) as well as KHTML-Browsers like Safari and Konqueror (with -khtml-prefix)

- mod_rewrite: in SysAdmin -> Settings -> Extra you have to activate mod_rewrite (all .htacces files will be copied automatically, they are placed in /modules/xxxxx/.htaccess/)
Attention: if there is already a .htaccess file present in the ROOT directory (the same directory as where your mainfile.php is placed), it will be overwritten!
Recommendation: copy the content of your old .htaccess file into the one placed at ROOT/htaccess/.htaccess

- block settings for standard scripts (index.php, user.php, register.php, edituser.php etc.) can be set now from SysAdmin -> Blocks -> Standard
each block can be viewed now within more than one module

- new block What's new: this block got itntegrated from the module Block-Info, which therefore can be uninstalled.

- autom. inclusion of include/index.user.inc.php or include/index.inc.php, if no startpage is activated
- SysAdmin -> graphics: standard image for e.g. the printpage of the news module


As a matter of course there were several bugs corrected in different CORE-modules and the system itself. The security and defense against attacks as well as stability and reliability have been improved and are revised continuously.
